BD Viper™ LT System

Your solution for HPV testing and extended genotyping

Meet the BD Viper™ LT System

The BD Viper™ LT System, tailored for the BD Onclarity™ HPV Assay, is a bench-top system that automates sample extraction and RT PCR amplification/ detection all in one instrument for added ease, convenience and walkaway time.

Accuracy

  • Multiplex RT PCR assay for the qualitative detection of 14 high-risk HPV types
  • On-demand genotyping for individual results of 16, 18, 45, 31, 51 and 52 with pooled results of 33/58, 35/39/68 and 56/59/66
  • E6/E7 DNA target
  • Utilises human beta globin as an internal control
Accuracy
HR, high risk; RT PCR, real-time polymerase chain reaction

The throughput you need with minimal hands on time

  • < 15 min hands-on time for run setup1
  • Up to 30 sample results in 4.5 hours
  • 120 results in a 12-hour shift with the last user intervention at 9.5 hours
  • Ready-to-use reagents
  • Sample tubes with pierceable caps to avoid manual opening
